The room sohould be cleaner (dust on radiators and wall edges).

    Location

Dark room, almost without windows, just one in the roof

Great hotel value for money and city location thanks for a nice late welcome

    Location

    Great

Excellent value for money, good location in a very quiet place within the historical downtown, a few minutes away from the tower.

It seems to be owned by the local catholic archbishop ("Ente Arcidiocesi di Pisa", as written on the receipt of local taxes) and apparently registered as a "no-profit" organization (as stamped on the breakfast coupon I was given). This is probably aimed at tax avoidance (not to be confused with tax evasion). I'd prefer that every commercial initiative would pay taxes, but this is just a personal matter of principle, that has nothing to do with the quality of service which was good.

    Great

The location. It was basically "around the corner" from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The front desk clerk was nice and helped our friend with her luggage. They give a voucher for a "free" pastry and coffee in a little cafe around the corner for breakfast. It was very good. They have parking right outside the hotel although you must park and walk to the hotel to get a pass to enter the restricted area. This was not a problem as we just found a place to park, went to the hotel for the pass, and then drove to the hotel. Parking could be a problem before getting the pass but if there are 2 of you one could just stay with the car. It is a quick walk from the main road. The GPS got us right to the street. I would not let this deter you as for the price it was a clean and a great location.

The stairs. We were on the top floor and no elevator. This however, happens in many hotels in Europe. Just part of traveling over here.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom seemed quite new. The location is ideal for seeing the only thing worth seeing around, the Piazza dei Miracoli. Just 2 steps away. The wi-fi coverage was perfect. Good price for the location and the conditions.

Where to start? The room looked like a convent monastery room with a huge Virgin Mary painting hanging above the bed. The tv had 3 channels in Italian and was so small, you could hardly see anything. The towels in the bathroom where made from a non-fluffy material, like the kitchen ones (convent style!). And the whole room had a creepy, dark tone. Not to mention all the Catholic themes around the halls (statues, paintings and stuff).

    Very good

It had touch of spirituality even in the room.

    Very good

    Very convenient location

We were given a twin room with no room to put the beds together and I had asked for a double

    Nice

Nice location few steps from The Leaning Tower, though Pisa is a small town and the tower could be reached from any point within 10 minutes. We got a garret room on a second floor which had unique character and was rather clean,

Beds were absolutely tragic. Plastic lining, very narrow and bulgy, my legs were sliding out and I was affraid I will wake up on a floor. Bathroom was not great either. Shower drain was blocked, water was pouring out after few minutes. The room wasn`t to expensive, but I`m sure you can get better place for the same money. Won`t stay there, if in Pisa again.

    Great

The Casa San Tommaso is in a great location,in a lovely old building, less than five minutes walk to the leaning tower. Although breakfast is served in a nearby bar, this was not a problem, with a lovely coffee and pastry you have a great view of the tower and duomo.

    Very good

Great location a few minutes' walk from Leaning Tower of Pisa and a reasonable walk from the main railway station. Bus stop round the corner for bus to the station.

We had a top floor room with very tiny window and very little additional light. The wardrobe was a man's wardrobe so no room to hang clothes other than shirts. There was a good big desk for my netbook but no lamp to work with. A couple of good lamps are needed.

Excellent reception. Good central location. Charming building and adequate room.

    Great

The best thing about Casa San Tommaso is the location. It is just two-minutes walk from Piazza Miracoli where the Leaning Tower is. (From the airport we took the LAM Rossa to Piazza Miracoli as advised by the hotel staff.) There were also signposts which easily led us to the hotel. The staff were accommodating and they can speak English which is very convenient. The hotel itself is very pretty and huge. We booked a double room. Breakfast is either the stuff from the vending machine or a coffee and croissant voucher from the nearby bar/coffee shop. The serving is very tiny though. As a whole I highly recommend the hotel :)

The bed mattress is a lil bit sturdy. :) it could have been more comfortable. The shower was tiny but not a problem for me because im a tiny person. The shower drain was not working very well. We told them about it before we left and hopefully they've fixed it for the next guests :)

    Very good

    1. Location inside the old town was perfect 2. Ability to park outside the door was ideal. 3. A small establishment made life easy. 4 Basic breakfast was OK

    1. Towels were poor cotton (non absorbenta0 quality. 2. Poor lighting in the room. 3. Cup to hold toothbrushes etc was 'filthy' (mould).

    Nice

The situation was perfect and the parking facility a bonus. The front and foyer looked inviting

The plumbing in the bathroom was a bit strange. We could not find anywhere a button to flush the loo. there was a "hose Spray" on the wall next to the toilet so we used that although it was not 100% efficient. We were in room 1 which is right at the front at street level so a bit noisy .
